Acclaimed by the French press (Les Inrocks, Trax, Noisey etc) as well as internationally (The New York Times, The Quietus), KillASon is in the process of revealing the full extent of his charisma to the world, carried by his vibrant, hybrid hip-hop style.
After the exuberant The Rize in 2016, and several months after the melodic STW1, Marcus Dossavi-Gourdot is back in style with STW2 in 2018, the second part and the phantasmagorical closure of the diptych Strange The World (STW), in which KillASon’s universe is musically and visually refined.
STW2 is a warmly melancholic and irresistibly dancing chapter. It is the second half of a colourful hybrid world in which KillASon is developing his “energy music”.
A 5 tracks EP, wherein the meticulous and unpredictable melodies attest to the maturity of a real songwriter, and which demonstrate a greater pop flair than one would have imagined
It’s no surprise to learn then that KillASon, 23, has managed to launch his own label, SUPANOVA. He is now exploring a more personal but still perfectly conscientious rap, interpreted in English, and mainly influenced by American artists (Michael Jackson, Busta Rhymes, Outkast, Lil Wayne …).
KillASon, also a dancer with crews Wanted Posse and Undercover, is a unique character with an ability to charm audiences, worldwide. So let’s Strange The World !
