ELECTRONIC
Trained as a percussionist, Yvan Talbot aka Doogoo D (the native son) goes to Africa at the age of 19 to explore Manding music.
He learns from the greatest percussion masters of West Africa and becomes a specialist of Djembé and Bolon, atypical instruments which will influence his style.
In 2003, he moves towards electronic music : it is a revelation, an evidence. He finds the strength and energy echoing the power of the African musics that he masters.
He creates a hybrid world, a powerful and narrative electronic sound, cherished by many renowned Hip-Hop & Contemporary dance choreographers (Co Chute Libre, Co Rêvolution, Co Malka, Co Accrorap, Co Julie Dossavi, Co Faso Danse Théâtre…).
As a Hip-Hop/Electronica producer, Doogoo D works, among others, with rap artist KillASon.
In 2009, he founds the group EL FASSA and releases his debut album No Black No White Just Voodoo : a mix of African, Latin and electro sounds. IN 2014 he crates TRIBOLOGY, a music collective of electronic producers.
In 2018, Doogoo D decides to make a solo EP, a fully electronic-based project entitled Caryotype. He invites several guests : men and women of different worlds and styles who give a particular color and story to each track.
His music is plural, powerful, organic, rhythmic, dancing, enriched by all his experiences and the people he met.

DOOGOO D ‘AFRO SET’
DOOGOO D creates a live set that takes us on a journey from West Africa to South Africa, passing through Uganda. He is one of the most active composers in the dance world. His music has been performed across the globe. He collaborates with leading contemporary and hip-hop choreographers, including Serge Aimé Coulibaly, Kader Attou, Julie Dossavi, Bouba Landrille Tchouda, and Rafael Smadja. A behind-the-scenes musical director, he has developed a strong passion for artistic transmission and the development of talent. He is notably the producer of Franco-Beninese rapper Killason, with whom he has been working for over 15 years.
Driven by a deep passion for electronic and house music, he finds in Afrobeat 2.0 a style that unites his two passions. He explores, without limits, the full spectrum of the continent’s urban music. A true devotee of African energy, he draws strength from three decades of travel across the continent.
